fleeting

maybe i should’ve been clearer then when i told you i had to go it’s just some things are better off if you didn’t know some people say i’m only out for myself and i don’t know if that’s exactly true but just in case i’d like to apologize for all the things i did and didn’t do sometimes you’ll find me walking home sometimes you’ll understand why i had to go and even if you can’t right now please don’t leave me out in the cold don’t ever stop don’t ever think you did something to chase me away pain’s never pleasure don’t second guess all i can say is don’t blame yourself i don’t make promises for a reason time’s too FLEETING still others would accuse me of treason all i’m trying to do is get up this hill all in all i’m not a bad guy i just need some time to work things out sometimes silence is the only sound safe enough to talk about don’t ever stop don’t ever think you did something to chase me away time is our blessing don’t second guess all i can say is don’t blame yourself life is funny that way you can always blame someone else
